JAMMU, June 17: A man was killed today in a road accident in Digiana area of city outskirts.
“Devinder Singh (40) son of Tezinder Singh, resident of Green Avenue, Digiana Ashram, received serious injuries when a scooty on which he was travelling, got slipped near his residence,” a police official said.
He said that the injured man was immediately taken to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
The body of the deceased was sent for postmortem while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
