REASI, May 13: One person was killed and four others were injured today when their van rolled down into the gorge in Arnas tehsil.
”A van met with an accident near Kanthan on Reasi-Arnas road and rolled down into the gorge,” a police official said, adding the rescue operation was immediately launched and the injured were shifted to the Primary Health Centre, Arnas.
He said the deceased was identified as Des Raj (45) son of Bajiter Singh, resident of Himna Salal while the injured were Romesh (45) son of Bodh Rajof Himna Salal, Vicky (35) son of Mohan Lal of Akhnoor, Tara Mani (55) son of Bajiter Singh of Himna Salal and Davinder Singh son of Desh Raj of Salal.
”Two of the injured were referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu,” the official said. He further added that a case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and investigations started.
