JAMMU, May 15: A bike-borne man was injured in a road mishap at Sainik Colony area of city outskirts while an 18-year-old girl tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Karloop area of Marh.
According to the reports, Arvind Sharma (29) son of Ram Lakhan of Greater Kailash was hit and injured by an Innova car while riding his bike, at Sainik Colony. He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, for treatment.
At Karloop area of Marh, a girl identified as Reshma Bibi daughter of Mohd Khan Mir of Marh consumed some poisonous substance following which her family members shifted her to nearby Government hospital. However, later she was referred to GMCH Jammu.
In both the cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
