JAMMU, Aug 28: One person, who suffered injuries in a blast at Chatha area of the District on August 22, 2023, succumbed to his injuries at DMC Ludhiana today, police said.
They said Raghubir Singh (36) son of Lt Jaswant Singh of Sujadpur, Chatha, was injured in a low-intensity blast at his home on August 22 after an explosive material kept at his home for hunting animals, went off accidentally.
He was taken to DMC Ludhiana the same day where he breathed his last around 6 am today, police said.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College Jammu for conducting the post-mortem while as a case under relevant sections of the law stands already registered at the concerned police station.
