SRINAGAR, Sept 9: A man was today critically injured after he was attacked by a bear in the north Kashmir’s Bandipora district
The man was identified as Farooq Ahmad Gojjer, 35, son of Rahemulla Gojjer, a resident of Cherwan village in Ajas town of the district.
It was said that he was outside his house in the early morning hours when a bear attacked him. It is to be mentioned here that the village is situated in the close vicinity of the forest.
After the incident, the man was referred to a hospital in Srinagar for advanced treatment.
