KATHUA, Dec 4: Police arrested a man along with 2 pistols, sharp edged weapon, contraband and cash amounting Rs 81,800.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Kathua led by SHO Inspector OP Chib under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Kathua Shammi Kumar during patrolling duty intercepted a suspected person.
During checking, police team recovered 2 pistols, 1 sharp edged weapon, 11 bottles of banned syrup bottles, 35 intoxicant capsules and cash amounting Rs 81,800 and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Kuldeep Singh, son of Puran Chand of Changran District Kathua.
A case FIR Number 509/2021 under Sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act and 4/7/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Kathua and investigation started.
