RAJOURI, Feb 3: A man from Dhani Dhar area of Rajouri town was arrested by police alongwith consignment of heroin here today.
Official sources said that police party from Rajouri under supervision of SHO Sameer Jellani and Vinod Kumar DySP Hqrs Rajouri during naka checking at Salani intercepted a Scorpio vehicle bearing registration number JK01M- 7456 which was on way to Rajouri town.
The driver of vehicle disclosed his identification as Mohammad Shakoor, son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Dhani Dhar Rajouri. Police further said that the said man was found in possession of 11 grams of heroin. The vehicle was seized on spot and man was arrested and booked in case FIR No 49 /2021 U/S 8(a)/21/25 NDPS Act.
