JAMMU, June 3: Chatha police arrested a man along with stolen vehicle.
As per police sources, a motorcycle bearing registration number JKO2BG-5321 was stolen from Barjala Chatha and a case under FIR Number 91/16 under Section 379 RPC was registered on May 23.
Acting over the complaint, a team from Chatha police post recovered the said motorcycle from the possession of Garu Ram, son of Ramesh Lal of Bishnah. Being a receiver of stolen property, Garu Ram has been booked under relevant Sections of law.
However, manhunt has been launched for the arrest of main accused namely Pummy Kumar, son of Ram Bajo of Village Sumbh, Phalian Mandal.
Police team led by Incharge Chatha police post SI Krishan Raina made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh, SDPO South Sachin Gupta and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
