DODA, June 13: Police arrested a man along with illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, based on specific information, a team from Doda police station apprehended a man along with 50 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Ganga Ram, son of Dev Raj, a resident of Goha Marmat, district Doda.
He was carrying the illicit liquor pouches to his village for selling among the people for illegitimate profits.
A case under FIR Number 127/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Doda police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Raghubir Singh and assisted by Incharge Pul Doda police post SI Ajay Kumar Engotra made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
