JAMMU, July 25: Police today arrested a bootlegger along with 38 pouches of illicit liquor from Gajansoo Chowk.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Gajansoo police post arrested a bootlegger namely Siyaram, son of Mungi Lal of Bihar, presently residing in Gajansoo.
During checking, police recovered 38 punches of illicit liquor from his possession.
A case under relevant Section has been registered against the accused at Gajansoo police post and investigation started.
Police party headed by incharge police post Gajansoo PSI Jasvinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Kanachack police station Rakesh Kumar and SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar.
