Man held for duping woman on promise of job

RAJOURI, Feb 11: The police today arrested a middle aged man inpersonating as Army officer  and duping a young woman of  Rs 50,000 on the promise of a job.
A police spokesman said that on the complaint of one Ruksana Kouser of  Kheora in Rajouri,  the accused  Mohd Yasin, son of  Mir Hussain, resident of Nakka Majari in Mendhar was arrested today. He was impersonating as an Army officer having good connections. He promised Ruksana Kouser of Kheora in Rajouri that he would managed a Govt job for her in Health Department. The woman gave Rs 50,000 as per the demand. After 5-6 months when nothing could happen, the woman asked for the money or the job. Then Yasin asked for Rs 10,000 more. She discussed the  matter with the other family members. They got suspicious and then lodged a complaint with the Rajouri police.
Later, it was discovered that Yasin was not an officer or a Govt employee. He had duped  many other people as well on the same pretext. The police arrested the accused and registered a case against him.
