RAMBAN, Oct 18: A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a tree in the area falling under the jurisdiction of Batote Police Station, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Firdous Ahmed (40), son of Mohammad Saleem Bhatti, a resident of Ward Number 6 Batote.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to hospital for autopsy.
Batote police has taken cognizance in this regards.
