JAMMU, Apr 4: The dead body of a 42-year-old man was today found hanging with the ceiling fan in Chatha area of city outskirts.
“Bushan Kumar son of Durga Dass, resident of Bhor Camp was found hanging with the hook of the ceiling fan at his residence this afternoon”, a police official said. He said that after conducting postmortem at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
“In this connection, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated at police station Satwari and cause of the death is being ascertained”, he said, adding that no suicide note was recovered from the spot of crime.
