Civilian killed at firing range

RAJOURI, Apr 4: A villager was killed at a firing range while collecting empty cartridges/ shells  in Nowshera sector of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that 50-year-old  Rattan Singh, son of  Santokh Singh, resident of Noniyal village had gone to Kanara Bhatt Army firing range to collect `empties’. During this process, he received a shell and startled fiddling  with it.  The shell exploded and he was killed on the spot. He said that police has taken cognizance of the matter.
