JAMMU, June 5: The dead body of a man was found hanging today from a tree in a field near his residence in Bhadore (Gho Manhasa) area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Post Pounichak.
“The deceased was identified as Jaswant Singh (40) son of Khajoor Singh,” a police sources said while adding that the body was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu and the postmortem will be conducted tomorrow.
Pounichak Police had taken cognizance of the matter. No suicide note was recovered from the crime spot, sources added.
