JAMMU, Nov 29: The dead body of a man was found hanging today at his residence in Gumat area falling under the jurisdiction of police post Hari Market.
“The deceased has been identified as Girdhari Lal (45) son of Thakur Dass, resident of Ramnagar,” police sources said, adding, the body was found hanging in a rented accommodation at Rani Mandir Mohalla (Gumat, Jammu), where the deceased was presently residing.
They said the dead body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated by police post Hari Market.
