Srinagar, Dec 9: Police today said an elderly man was found dead in mysterious circumstances in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district last evening.
A police spokesman said the body of 75 year old Amir Mohammad of Nowagabra Karnah was recovered at his home in suspicious condition.
“Police After completion of all legal formalities handed over the body of deceased to his relatives for last rites. Police have initiated inquest proceeding under Section 74 CrPC to ascertain the cause of his death,” he said.
