JAMMU, June 22: A man was found dead in canal in Belicharana area today.
As per police sources, body of a man identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Hem Raj, a resident of Krishna Nagar Jammu was spotted by some passerby in the canal in Belicharana area and accordingly informed the police.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and retrieved the body from the canal.
The body has been shifted to the morgue of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for autopsy, which will be conducted tomorrow.
Belicharana police has taken cognizance in this regards.
