JAMMU, Sept 14: The dead body of a man was found today here from Parade area.
According to a police spokesman, some passersby this morning found an unknown man lying in unconscious condition near No Entry point in Parade area and informed the police.
He said that a police team immediately reached the spot and shifted the man to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“The deceased was later identified as Susheel Kumar son of Durga Dass, resident of Mastgarh, Jammu”, the spokesman said, adding, after completing all medico-legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC were initiated in the case.
