DODA, Feb 2: A man eating leopard was captured alive by the sleuths of Forest Department and Wild Life Department at village Nalwa, who had killed a 12-year old boy in same village on January 21.
As per Conservator, Forest Department, Chenab Circle, TB Singh, the sleuths of Forest Department accompanied by Wild Life Department officials captured a man eating leopard this evening at village Nalwa.
After heavy snowfall in higher reaches, this man eating leopard entered in Nalwa village on January 21 and killed a 12-year-old boy namely Sohail Ahmed, son of Gulam Mohammad, triggering fear psychosis among the villagers, he added.
On January 29, Wild Life Department had also issued hunt orders against this man eating.
