RAMBAN, Oct 16: A man drowned in river Chenab here today.
As per police sources, a person identified as Akhtar Hussain, son of Dilbar Hussain of Sealdah Halla accidentally fell down into river Chenab, while collecting woods.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and divers were pressed in to fish out the body. The body remained untraced till last reports were compiled.
Ramban police has taken cognizance in this regard.
