JAMMU, Mar 6: A 52-year old man reportedly an Air Force employee died today under mysterious circumstances at Technical Airport, Satwari.
According to a police spokesperson, Ram Chander Sahu son of Siraju Sahu, a resident of Bihar (at present Air Force Station Satwari), was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu by his colleagues, when he suddenly fell unconscious while discharging his duty at Technical Airport, Satwari, this evening.
However, the doctors at GMCH declared him as brought dead. The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of GMCH for post mortem.
The Satwari police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations. “Prima facie, it appears to be a case of heart attack, however nothing could be confirmed before autopsy report comes”, SHO Satwari, Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary said.
