RAJOURI, Mar 23: A villager was killed after he fell down from the roof top of a house while a youth committed suicide by hanging in district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that one Sain Dass, son of Chhato Ram, resident of village Phall in Sunderbani was working in the house of one Birbal, son of Sheru Ram of the same area. He fell down while working from the roof top at around 3 pm and was rushed to Sunderbani hospital with serious head injuries. The doctors declared him as brought dead. The police has taken cognizance.
Meanwhile, Surinder Singh alias Kala, son of Mahinder Singh, resident of Nariyan near Chingus committed suicide by hanging. The family members informed Chingus police which shifted the body for postmortem to Rajouri hospital. The police has started investigation into the matter.
