Man dies of COVID, 119 test +ve

Srinagar, Dec 27: An 85 year old died in Kashmir today while 119 people tested positive for COVID-19.
An 85 year old man who died in Srinagar belonged to Rajbagh. He was admitted to hospital and succumbed today.
With this death, the total fatality count in J&K has reached 1869-1178 in the Valley.
Srinagar district with 446 deaths topped the list followed by Baramulla 170, Budgam 107, Kupwara 90, Pulwama 88, Anantnag 83, Bandipora 60, Kulgam 53, Ganderbal 43 and Shopian 37.
And in Kashmir, 119 people tested positive for COVID-19 taking J&K tally of Coronavirus positives to 120137.
Srinagar reported 69 cases, Baramulla 12, Budgam 15, Kupwara 4, Pulwama 4, Anantnag 3, Bandipora 7 and Shopian 5.
As per official figures, 25,114 positive cases including 446 deaths and 24,044 recoveries are from Srinagar, 7,916 including 171 deaths and 7,594 recoveries are from Baramulla, 7,555 including 7,254 recoveries and 107 deaths are from Budgam, 5,499 including 5,264 recoveries and 90 deaths are from Kupwara, 5,502 including 88 deaths and 5,222 recoveries are from Pulwama, 4,765 including 4,570 recoveries and 83 deaths are from Anantnag, 4,633 cases including 4,491 and 60 deaths are from Bandipora, 4,452 including 4,299 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Ganderbal, 2,655 including 2,532 recoveries and 53 deaths are from Kulgam and 2,488 including 2,347 recoveries and 37 deaths are from Shopian.
With fresh deaths, the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached 70,579 including 67,786 recoveries and 1,178 deaths.
In Jammu and Kashmir, out of over 3,694, 000 samples tested so far, over 3,574,00 tested negative and 120137 positive.
Moreover, 264 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals today including 169 from Kashmir.
