JAMMU, Dec 23: A man today died due to electrocution at a private hospital in Ludhiana.
According to a police spokesman, Sher Singh (58) son of Bhim Singh, resident of Barnai area falling within the limits of police station Domana received serious burn injuries when he came in contact with a live wire at his residence yesterday.
He said in serious condition, Sher Singh was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, from where he was later taken to a private hospital in Ludhiana, where he succumbed to his injuries today.
“The body of the deceased was today shifted to mortuary of GMCH Jammu for postmortem”, he said, adding the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
