JAMMU, Dec 23: Collision of two vehicles today led to a clash between their drivers in Satwari area of city outskirts.
According to the reports, a private school bus of Central University Jammu this evening collided with a car bearing registration number JK14-7082 near Jeevan Nagar in Satwari area here following which the drivers of both the vehicles exchanged heated words and clashed with each other.
An eyewitness here said that the car driver supported by some passersby also thrashed the bus driver and damaged the bus by pelting stones and later escaped from the spot. The students travelling in the bus rushed to the police station Gandhi Nagar to lodge a complaint and seeking arrest of the erring car driver.
“We have registered a case in this connection and after thorough investigation action will be taken against the guilty,” Deputy SP, Sachin Gupta, SDPO Gandhi Nagar here said.
