JAMMU, May 29: A man died today due to electrocution in Rehari Colony area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the man identified as Kishore son of Kota, resident of Narwal, (at present Narwal), a mason by profession, received severe electric shock during a construction site and fell unconscious.
He was immediately taken to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. “After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while inquest proceedings were initiated in the case”, he added.
