JAMMU, July 11: A man died today due to electrocution in Talab Tillo area on city outskirts.
According to a police official, the deceased has been identified as Ramesh Lal (50) son of late Thoru Ram, resident of Bharat Nagar, Poonch House, Talab Tillo. The man received severe electric shock from an air cooler at his residence this morning, he said, adding when shifted to hospital, Ramesh Lal was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“After postmortem the body has been handed over to its legal heirs for last rites while inquest proceeding under Section 174 CrPC initiated in this connection at police post Talab Tillo,” the official further added.
