JAMMU, May 13: A man from Chhatisgarh died today due to electrocution near SPMR Commerce College.
“The deceased has been identified as Arjun Joley (25) son of Dojey Ram, resident of Chattisgarh. He was presently living near Science College,” a police official said. He said the deceased allegedly came in contact with a high tension wire that broke down tonight at about 9 O’ clock near commerce College due to high velocity winds.
He said the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital while inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police station Nowabad.
