JAMMU, June 7: A man died today due to alleged overdose of drugs here in Panjtirthi area.
“The deceased has been identified as Subhash Gandotra, son of Kewal Gandotra, resident of House No 289, Panjtirthi”, a spokesman said, adding, he was yesterday shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu after he allegedly consumed excessive dose of medicine of depression, which he used to take usually.
The spokesman said that the man died today at GMCH Jammu and after completing all medico-legal formalities, his body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated in the case.
