JAMMU, May 1: A man died today after a large branch of a roadside tree fell on him here at Talab Tillo, Chungi.
According to a police official, a bike borne-man namely Jagater Singh Chib (42) son of Jarnail Singh, resident of Paloura, Jammu, received serious injuries when large branch of a road side tree suddenly broke and fell on him at Talab Tillo, Chungi, on Akhnoor Road.
“The grievously injured man was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors”, he said, adding, after completion of all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
