UDHAMPUR, Oct 4: A middle aged man was brutally attacked and left critically injured by a bear in forest area of Chapped, Tehsil Latti in Udhampur District.
The victim, identified as Kunj Lal (50), son of Luddan, resident of village Chapped, was returning home after grazing sheep and goats when a bear suddenly attacked him. The bear seriously injured the man and also damaged his one eye.
Locals rushed the injured to Primary Health Center (PHC) Latti where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his critical condition.
