JAMMU, Oct 8: A man, who had allegedly consumed some poisonous substance on 5th of this month at his residence in Rajouri, expired today at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Jagdish (50) son of Darshan Lal, a resident of Rajouri, was shifted to GMCH Jammu on October 5 after he tried to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence.
However, after battling with the life for three days in the hospital the man expired today at about 7am.
After conducting postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
