JAMMU, Aug 26: A 40-year old man who yesterday consumed some poisonous substance at his residence in Nanak Nagar area of city outskirts, died today at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
“The man identified as Ashok Kumar son of Shanker Dass and resident of Nanak Nagar, was shifted to GMCH Jammu, yesterday after he consumed some poisonous substance at his home”, a police official said, adding, he died today at about 12:30 PM.
He said that the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
