KATRA, Dec 20: A young man committed suicide by hanging himself from ceiling fan hook in the rented room at counter number 2, Katra, here today.
The deceased, identified as Vijay Kumar (41), son of Jagdish of village Bhaila, Tehsil Ramnagar, District Udhampur, was working here at a Dhaba. His body was found hanging under mysterious circumstances in the rented room, where he was residing presently.
On being informed, Police shifted the dead body to hospital for postmortem and other legal formalities. A case in this regard has been registered by Katra Police for further investigation.
