JAMMU, Aug 10: Domana police booked a man under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
As per police sources, a girl aged around 16 years lodged a complaint with Police Station Domana stating that a person namely Anshu, son of Naresh Kumar, a resident of Ward No 10, District Kathua has kidnapped and raped her.
After conducting medical examination, the girl was handed over to family members.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 309/19 under Section 363 and 376 RPC and 3/4 POCSO Act has been registered at Domana Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the accused.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
