JAMMU, Nov 15: A man has been booked for allegedly raping a girl inside a shop in Taku Tera area of tehsil Mandal here today.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a lady with Police Post Phallian Mandal stating that her daughter has been allegedly raped by a man identified as Vinod Kumar alias Kaka, son of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Taku Tera tehsil Mandal inside a shop in Taku Tera area.
After conducting medical examination, the victim was handed over to her family.
Acting over the complaint, a case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Satwari and hunt has been launched to nab the alleged accused.
