Man booked for hurting religious sentiments

JAMMU, Apr 21: Miran Sahib Police booked a man for hurting religious sentiments of a particular community.
As per police sources, a man, who was using social media accounts on the name of Mukesh Bhardwaj, has been booked for hurting the religious sentiments of a particular community.
A case under FIR Number 38/2021 under Sections 295-A (insults or attempts to insult the religion or the religious beliefs), 507 IPC (Criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication) and 67 IT Act case has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib against Mukesh Bhardwaj and investigation started.
However, members of the community have expressed resentment and demanded strict action against the man for hurting their religious beliefs.
