JAMMU, Apr 21: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Amit Gupta here today inaugurated a newly installed Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Cooler in a park at Lajpat Nagar in Ward 19.
Speaking on the occasion, Amit Gupta said that contaminated drinking water is a source of spreading diseases thereby causing ill-health.
“We have taken this step to provide pure and filtered drinking water to everyone who will visit the park,” he said.
The JMC Councillor appealed to the public not to wander out unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are on rise.
He said that one should only leave the home when it is important and stressed upon wearing of masks and practicing social distancing.
Kasturi Lal Gupta, Vishal Gupta, Nitin Sharma and other prominent locals of the Ward also accompanied the Councillor.
