JAMMU, Apr 22: Bishnah police booked a man for hiding travel history.
As per police sources, an information was received at Police Station Bishnah that a man identified as Ashwani Kumar, son of Pritam Chand of village Nandpur Tibba had reached his home on April 20 this year from Maharashtra.
On getting information, a police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Deepak Pathania under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and SP Headquarters Adil Hamid rushed to the spot, but the man started hiding his travel history.
Accordingly, Block Medical Officer (BMO) Bishnah was informed and the man was shifted to Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 70/2020 under section 188 IPC and Epidemic Diseases Act (EDA), 1897 has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation initiated.
