JAMMU, Feb 21: A man allegedly tried to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Dablair, falling under the jurisdiction of RS Pura police station.
As per reports, Bachan Lal, son of Mangu Ram of Dablair allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence this afternoon.
Finding him unconscious, family members rushed him to RS Pura Hospital, from where he was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advance treatment.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at RS Pura police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
