JAMMU, Aug 30: A 34-year old man was seriously injured late last night here in Krishna Nagar area when another man attacked him with a sharp edged weapon.
According to a police spokesperson, Rakesh Kumar son of Kherati Lal, a resident of House No 153, Krishna Nagar, Jammu, was intercepted by another man of the same locality and assaulted with a sharp edged weapon. In the attack, Rakesh Kumar, received injuries on his back and legs and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu while the accused fled from the spot after committing crime.
A case under Arms Act has been registered at police station Nowabad against the accused, who is still at large.
