Man attacked by wild animal

REASI, May 25: A young man was attacked by a wild animal at Budhan area of Mahore when the victim had gone for grazing his cattle near the forests.
The victim was identified as Mushtaq Ahmed (30) son of Bashir Ahmed of Pattian. He sustained serious wounds in the attack and was rescued by some locals, who shifted him to a nearby Medical Centre. Later, the victim was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Mahore for further treatment.
The incident has triggered a panic in the area and locals have appealed the Wildlife Department to capture the beast.
Meanwhile, a mule died after fire broke out in cattle shed of one Shamsher Singh of Ward number 3 of Tote Panchayat in Bhamag tehsil of Reasi district. The fire spread from kitchen and soon engulfed the cattle shed, resulting into death of one mule.
