RAMBAN, June 22: Dharamkund Police arrested a man along with 24 bottles of smuggled beer.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Dharamkund Police Station led by PSI Rohit laid a naka and stopped a vehicle bearing registration number UK07DS-0156, which was on its way from Ramban towards Sangaldaan.
During checking, police team recovered 24 bottles of smuggled beer and arrested one person, who was identified as Mohammad Iqbal, son of Abdul Gani, a resident of Pernote District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 28/2021 under Section 48 (A) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Dharamkund and investigation started.
The arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SHO Dharamkund Inspector Firdoos Ahmed and SDPO Gool Pardeep Kumar.
