JAMMU, Aug 16: District Special Branch (DSB) nabbed a person along with rolls of banned synthetic rolls.
As per police sources, on specific information, the sleuths of DSB Jammu under the supervision of DySP Jagdev Singh conducted raid and apprehended a man along with 50 to 55 rolls of banned synthetic thread.
The arrested person was identified as Shuvam Kumar, son of Suresh Kumar, a resident of Kali Jani District Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention here that District Magistrate has ordered ban on sale of synthetic/nylon thread in Jammu for the forthcoming kite festivals.
Rehari Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
