JAMMU, Mar 22: Nagrota Police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar laid a naka and intercepted a car bearing registration number JK02CJ-1514.
During checking, police team recovered 660 bottles of illicit liquor from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who was identified as Sonu Kumar, son of Fanka Ram, a resident of District Udhampur.
A case under FIR Number 114/2022 under Section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
