JAMMU, Mar 2: Panjtirthi Police arrested a man and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on reliable information information a team from Police Post Panjtirthi led by PSI Rahul Sharma under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Raghubir Singh, SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Kulbir Handa laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle.
During checking, police team recovered 41 quarters of illicit liquor from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Rinku Kumar, son of Tara Mani, a resident of Bajalta District Jammu.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and investigation started.
