JAMMU, Sept 21: Pouni Chack Police arrested a man along with illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Pouni Chack Police Post led by SI Rakesh Bhagat and assisted by ASI Jai Singh apprehended a person along with 52 quarters of illicit liquor.
The arrested person was identified as Krishna Parshad, son of Singesar Dary of Jharkhand, at present Pouni Chak.
He was carrying the illicit liquor to his area for selling among the people for illegitimate profits.
A case under FIR Number 267/2020 under relevant sections has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
Police team made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Chanchal Singh, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Suram Singh.
