RAMBAN, Apr 3: A man has been arrested along with illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Ramban Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 51 quarters of illicit liquor from the possession of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Jeeta Ram, son of Sher Singh of Chachwa, District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 73/19 under section 48-A Excise Act has been registered against the accused person at Police Station Ramban and investigation has been taken up to ascertain the source and other persons involved in this menace.
