Man arrested with illicit liquor

JAMMU, Jan 9: Arnia police arrested a man and recovered country made illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Arnia Police Station conducted raid in village Chak Tara and apprehended a man along with 26 pouches of country made illicit liquor.
The arrested person has been identified as Kamal Kumar, son of Ramu, a resident of Chak Tara.
A case under FIR Number 1/19 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Arnia and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Arnia Inspector Rajesh Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prasher, SP Headquarters RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Tejinder Singh.
